Project Overview

Drill derrick to be partially dismantled to allow for passing under bridges.

Scope

• Alignment surveys undertaken on dolly rails, crown block and rotary table
• Surveys carried out throughout reassembly to allow for close tolerance alignment

Benefits delivered by Scopus:

• Ability to reset drill track alignment – alignment was not compromised by disassembly
• Drill derrick able to function quicker
• This method was replicated globally in Cameroon, Nigeria, Singapore, Brazil and many other countries
