Pipework Replacement TAR

Project Overview

TAR on field with high requirement for pipework replacement including all associated pipe supports.

Scope

• Dimensional Survey, design and fabrication of 72 pipe spools plus supports for installation during TAR
• Management of material supply, fabrication, inspection release and PED for all pipework
• Scope included TAR critical path scope – replacement of Closed Drain Header
• Scopus devised strategy to minimise TAR scope including parallel installation of sections of header

Benefits delivered by Scopus:

• 10 spools installed pre-TAR and 37 spools installed during TAR saudemasculina.pt
• Installation of replacement Closed Drains Header – approx. 100m of 8” pipework
• First-time-fit of spools
• Increased uptime, no rework costs
• TAR schedule maintained
