Graeme Wilson | Managing Director

Graeme has over 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas and defence industries and has held a variety of engineering, project management and business management positions both on and offshore.

He has a Masters Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and is a member of the Association of Project Management. Graeme has amassed experience in delivering engineering, procurement and construction modifications, with varying degrees of complexity, across a multitude of customers. In his last role, Graeme was responsible for setting up and delivering term modifications contracts in the Middle East, South East Asia and the United States of America.

Graeme joined Scopus in October 2018 and is responsible Scopus day to day operations, driving excellence in delivery across our service lines and growing the business across all sectors in the UK and internationally.

Steve King | Technical Delivery Manager

Steve has worked in the petrochemical and offshore oil and gas industry for over 30 years. His career in engineering started in instrument design before moving into corporate management, where he has experience in technical challenges & efficiency strategies, technical close-out and championing school partnerships.

Steve joined Scopus in October 2017 as Technical Delivery Manager where he will develop the engineering function and lead the company growth in repair orders and minor modification scopes.

In 2013, Steve raised £13,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support by completing the Three Peaks Challenge (climbing Mount Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis) and cycled between each mountain, a additional distance of around 550 miles!

Kevin Woodhouse | Engineering Manager

Kevin has over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and has held a variety of posts including Principal Piping Engineer, Project Engineer and Engineering Manager.

Starting out as a Piping Draughtsman straight from school, Kevin’s career has progressed quickly. He gained a HNC in Engineering and is a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Incorporated Engineers.

Kevin joined Scopus in late 2009. His proactive approach to business inspires his team to build strong, working relationships with clients. He has a proven track record in managing various sizes and complexities of brownfield modification and upgrade projects, and is responsible for delivering cost effective solutions within schedule both in the UK and overseas.

Thomas Flad | Survey Manager

Thomas studied Survey Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe, Germany, before starting out as a land surveyor where he was involved in small and large land surveying and civil engineering projects.

Thomas joined Scopus in 2009 as a Dimensional Control Surveyor with responsibility for dimensional control of fabricated products, corridor surveys for new pipework routings and verification surveys.  In 2016 he was appointed Survey Manager overseeing all of Scopus’ specialist survey solutions.

Shona McAllan | Commercial Manager

Shona has over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and having started her career in Accountancy. has held a variety of Finance, Project Management, Business Development and Commercial Management positions over that time.

Prior to joining Worley, Shona was responsible for setting up and delivering commercial mechanisms for an innovative and successful 4 partner joint venture supporting a major North Sea operator.

Shona formed part of the management team of  Scopus following the acquisition of the company from its founders in December 2014 and is responsible for managing commercial risk within the business, both in the UK and overseas, and driving improvement in the commercial and finance structure across Scopus.

Gordon Kessack | Assurance Manager

Gordon joined Scopus as our Quality Manager in June 2017, bringing with him extensive subsea and topside Oil and Gas industry experience, with over 20 years’ experience within Quality Assurance, Control and Non-Destructive Testing. He has held management positions working onshore in the UK and overseas on small and large EPC projects.

Gordon drives a culture of improvement throughout the business, and is always looking to identify more efficient working methods internally and with our suppliers and clients.

He is responsible for all aspects of Assurance within the business.
